Allterra Civil Construction is a regional infrastructure firm specializing in heavy civil engineering, site preparation, and environmental remediation across Vancouver Island.
The Challenge
Allterra had outgrown its legacy visual identity. Its outdated branding failed to reflect the company’s expansion into major municipal and private commercial projects. Furthermore, to secure upcoming high-value municipal tenders and maintain strong relationships with commercial developers, Allterra required a polished, multi-page annual report.
The Solution
Brand Refresh: Designed a simplified, high-impact abstract mark derived from the company’s name using the letter ‘A’. Moving away from crowded graphics to a clean, minimal geometric shape provided immediate visual recognition across job sites and heavy equipment, positioning Allterra as an industry authority.
Executive Annual Report Layout: Developed a structured, data-driven report layout. Strategic data—including active project locations, fleet sizing, and growth metrics—was translated into clear visual charts, infographics, and executive summary spreads.

Coastal Nations Search and Rescue (CNSAR) is a specialized marine search and rescue organization providing critical emergency response and coastal safety operations across regional waters.
The Challenge
Despite conducting high-stakes operations, CNSAR operated without an official, standardized crew manual. Incoming recruits lacked a centralized resource explaining course objectives, operational protocols, and performance standards prior to starting their training. To professionalize their onboarding process and clearly communicate both what recruits could expect and what was expected of them, CNSAR required a comprehensive, easy-to-navigate training manual.
The Solution
Operational Crew Manual Design: Created CNSAR’s inaugural official crew manual, establishing a structured curriculum guide for incoming personnel. Designed as a functional layout featuring clear course objectives, key operational takeaways, and crucial information ensuring recruits could absorb essential operational expectations ahead of active training.
